David Dillon has been a partner in the law firm of Dillon and Nash since 1979, specializing in the field of real property taxation. Counselor Dillon has historically saved clients many hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxes, through more accurate and granular property use categories, and in many cases, was able to properly re-classify industrial property to its correct category of railroad functionality, minimizing property tax implications, as well as increase the property development potential of land parcels that would have otherwise lain more fallow, had the misclassification had not been detected and seen to.
Prior to that, he served in the Cook County State's Attorney's office, handling civil trials and real property taxation issues representing the Cook County Assessor.
